Honest Works is a nonprofit in formation. We turn donated AI and cloud credits into the software public agencies need, record every credit in an open ledger, and pay people displaced by AI to do the human side of the work.

- 01Credits
AI labs, cloud providers and software companies donate API, hosting and software credits, through the giving programs they already run.
- 02Software
We use them to build what agencies actually buy: websites, accessibility fixes, permitting and case tools, data migrations, and in time, hosting. We compete for the work through normal public procurement.
- 03Ledger
Every credit is published: who gave it, what it was spent on, which agency it served, and what it delivered. Donors get proof. The public gets receipts.
- 04People
People whose work AI has displaced are paid to review, test, translate and support what we build, and they share in what it earns over time, like a retirement benefit.
